*        BREED ENTRIES MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY ALL BREED REGISTRATION AND MEMBERSHIP NUMBERS – THESE WILL BE CHECKED WITH BREED ORGANISATIONS

On the day fees have an increase in cost, and you will be required to pay a gate entry fee.

ENTRY FEE: These vary and include G.S.T.

         

PRIZE WINNERS FROM THE SHOW ARE EXPECTED TO TAKE THEIR PLACE IN THE GRAND PARADE.

Prize money will not be paid on Saturday until after the Grand Parade.

District events are restricted to exhibit and exhibitors residing within the Rural City of Swan Hill and within 50 km of Swan Hill.

Any prize money not collected within two weeks of the show shall be forfeited and paid into the General Account of the Swan Hill District Agricultural and Pastoral Society Incorporated.

Loose boxes must be booked and paid for at least 14 days prior to the show, NOT pre booked only. Unpaid loose boxes will be reallocated without notice. No bookings will be taken until June 2009. Stable fee’s to be paid in full 2 weeks after booking.

Cost $15.00 per stable for first night extra nights $7.00.Preference will be given to STALLIONS with approval from ringmaster

BOXES TO BE CLEANED OUT. Otherwise no boxes for 2010, a cleaning fee of $10 for each stable to accompany stable fees. This fee will be returned once box cleaned out and inspected.

Please state when booking if it is a stallion. Campsites are $2.00 per night.  No car parking on the grounds.

All ponies and horses CAN be measured between the times of 7.30 a.m. and 10 a.m. Friday and Saturday.

Current E.F.A, R.A.S and S.H.C. measuring cards will be accepted and must be produced on request. The right is reserved to re-measure if needed. No stallions permitted in Open Ridden events.

All competitors must sign indemnity form.

Stallions must be suitably bitted and in the hands of an adult at all times.

 

The committee reserves the right to alter the program if necessary.

The Committee reserves the right to have horses swabbed.

All falls must be lodged with the Secretary, on an incident report form.

The judges’ decision will be final.

Important Information

Any rider riding a horse at an EFA or affiliated event, must wear protective headgear to the current Australian, European or American Standard. The retaining harness must be secured and fastened at all times. Riders without approved headgear shall be ineligible to compete until rectified.

 

The use of tranquillisers, stimulants, or any drugs capable of affecting the performance or behaviour of animals is forbidden.

 

Competitors are advised that test for forbidden substances may be carried out during the Show and that testing of all animals is at the owner’s risk. Testing for forbidden substances will be carried out under veterinary supervision.

 

No person who is in arrears with regard to entry fees, subscriptions, or any other Show charge is eligible to compete at any Show held by or affiliated with VAS Ltd. Proof of payment will be required before any restriction will be lifted.

Confirmation forms for district entrants must be collected from the office after Sept 23rd and before the show. All other entries will be posted out. Any alterations that need to be made are to be reported to the office as soon as possible.

 

All entries must have available on the day a photocopy of papers and relevant

membership for each society/ breed that horse is entered. These will be checked. If a late

entry, they will be checked on entry to the ring.
